Despite the connotations that the word may have in English, the Latin adjective vulgaris means "common, general, usual, everyday." Hence, Vulgare is the working name of a conlang which attempts to bring the benefits of learning Latin vocabulary to the mass population.
I hope to play around with simplifying Latin grammar - but not to the extent of Peano's Latino Sine Flexione because I think that learning some grammar is important for accessing our rich Latin-based heritage. I also hope to have Vulgare incorporate Greek terms in mass, so that users (students and speakers) will be well rounded in both the classical languages of Western Europe. Please feel free to comment and critique - this is only a working project, so I don't even know where it'll end up!
